Online images and videos of actor James Reid and Momoland member Nancy McDonie sparked relationship suspicions between the two.
James and Nancy were shown in different Tiktok videos enjoying Los Angeles with their respective companions.
Model Ivan Dorschner and Fil-Am Hollywood star photographer Sthanlee Mirador were filming a video of themselves with Nancy in the background in one of the videos.
The film was then turned on Ivan’s pals James and Kevin Woo, former members of the South Korean boy band U-KISS.
A photo of Nancy and James was also distributed on the internet, in which they were seen together, seemingly chatting.
James and Nancy were set to star in Dreamscape Entertainment’s ABS-CBN teleserye “The Soulmate Project,” directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
A spokesperson of Careless Music Manila told Philstar.com at last Friday’s Crocs event in Bonifacio Global City that the actor did not left the Philippines permanently and is simply in LA to work on projects. The spokesman declined to say what these projects are, but assured James’ supporters that James is still extremely hands-on as the owner of Careless Music Manila and that he will return to the Philippines shortly to continue his showbiz and music career in the Philippines.
Robert Malcolm Reid, the actor’s biological father, confirmed this in an Instagram post on Feb. 19.
“With James at NAIA a few days ago. On his way to LA for recording sessions and to visit his brother Andrew. That’s it. Anything else is basura. Sorry to disappoint the fake newsmakers,” wrote Robert on Instagram.
