Ana Jalandoni, Nagsalita Na Sa Isyu Ng Pangbubugbog Sa Kanya Ni Kit Thompson

On Friday, actress Ana Jalandoni resorted to social media to express her feelings about the alleged mauling event in which she and her boyfriend, actor Kit Thompson, were involved.

Jalandoni, who is represented by her sister Tanya Gomez, gave ABS-CBN News permission to utilize her posts on various news platforms on Friday night. “Yes, puwede nang gamitin. You can use the Instagram and Facebook posts of Ana regarding the case,”

Gomez is caring for Jalandoni at a Tagaytay City hospital, where she was injured early Friday morning during an alleged violent encounter with Thompson in their hotel, according to Gomez.

“When you love someone you will never ever harm them. Minahal mo ba talaga?” in her posts that contained juxtaposed photographs before and after the alleged mauling incident, Jalandoni wrote the cryptic caption.

“This is me saying, you all should be careful out there. I can’t reply to all of you right now but thank you for checking up on me. I will release a statement soon,” Jalandoni wrote.

The post received about 30,000 likes on Instagram and nearly 180,000 reactions on Facebook.

With her film “Manipula,” Jalandoni became one of the pandemic’s breakout stars, and she began dating Thompson in late 2021.

Meanwhile, Thompson’s management business made its position on violence against women known in the newest round of the debate.

Cornerstone Entertainment’s management said in a statement to ABS-CBN News on Friday night that it does not condone any acts of violence and places a high value on women’s dignity.

“We take this opportunity to clarify that our earlier statement was issued with no knowledge of any specific details as we were in receipt only of general allegations. Neither were we privy to any photos of the incident.”

“In this delicate situation, we subscribe to the sound discretion of law enforcement and allow the wheels of justice to take its course,” it said.

Cornerstone had previously urged the public to exercise caution when passing judgment on the basis of unsubstantiated online reports.

Thompson is currently being held by the Tagaytay Police Department pending the filing of criminal charges against him.
